Pinecone Yunomi

My sweetheart & I are suburban kids, but our neighborhood was once the pecan grove for UTA when it was an agricultural school. In addition to the massive canopy of pecan trees, we are also blessed with an interspersion of tall pine trees, just like those out in the East Texas piney woods. The way the pine trees smell is the one delicious element that comes from the sweltering summer heat. The pinecones that we kick down the street while we walk the dogs are an essential ambulatory experience, and so have become Pinecone Yunomis for you to scatter across your table top.
